I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is looking for an exciting and entertaining game starring one of the greatest sleuths of all time, Nancy Drew. It has everything a Nancy Drew game ought to have - an intriguing story, interesting characters, lovely sets, good music, moments that get your heart pounding, and plenty of German lore (including Brothers Grimm stories) woven into the plot. Overall, I'm giving "The Captive Curse" 5 out of 5 stars.
Other players may well find this one easier and shorter than I did. This is totally fine by me - as long as I can still solve it (which hasn't been a problem with any games so far), the harder the better! Of course, this is just me. I found this game a little harder than the average Nancy Drew game, and it took me several days to solve it. Nancy Drew: The Captive Curse is an action-adventure game for PC developed by Her. There are, however, a few instances that definitely made me jump. Thread your way through a maze of deceit in this Greek Drama Mystery Maze of Balthasar Castle. I didn't find this the scariest game I've played (Ghost of Thornton Hall, Shadow at the Water's Edge, Curse of Blackmoor Manor, and Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake were the scariest in my opinion).
